On Saturday, October 3, more than 260 people came out to celebrate something new for Smithville: Banner Built Homes is coming to town. From 12 to 3 PM, we hosted Myles Place Fall Fest to kick off our newest community and meet our future neighbors.
Myles Place isn't built yet, but Fall Fest gave everyone a first taste of the community it will become. Myles Place will bring new single-family homes to Smithville, starting in the $200s. Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us.
Something for Everyone
The afternoon was packed with activities for every age:
- Pumpkin carving: Little artists (and a few competitive grown-ups) turned plain pumpkins into jack-o'-lantern masterpieces.
- Face painting: Pumpkins, butterflies, and superheroes popped up all over the event.
- Cornhole: Friendly rivalries were born, and a few bragging rights were earned.
- Bounce house: The kids bounced from start to finish, and somehow still had energy left.
- Fall treats: Seasonal sweets kept everyone fueled between activities.
- Food trucks: Local favorites served up lunch, so nobody had to go home hungry.
Four Ways to Win
The giveaways drew a crowd every time. We gave away $500 in cash, a Blackstone grill, a YETI cooler, and two local gift baskets. Congratulations to all of our winners!
More than the games or the prizes, Fall Fest was about getting to know Smithville. We had great conversations with families from across town and heard what people love about living here. That small-town spirit is exactly what we want Myles Place to be part of.
Thank You, Neighbors
A big thank you to everyone who came out, to our food truck partners, and to the Banner Built team who helped make the day possible. This is just the beginning for us in Smithville.
